Age: Key Stage 3 - Year 8-9

Overall aim: to consider the religious responses to the climate crisis from a local, national and global perspective.

Pupils think about how Christians and Buddhists respond to the climate crisis and be able to enquire into local, national and international efforts by people of religious faith.

Pupils will have the opportunity to learn about the issues of stewardship, local projects that they can become involved in, and see how these projects fit into the national and global responses to climate and ecology.

By the end of the resource pupils will have explored the issues and problems facing efforts to tackle environment issues in local, national and global contexts. They will have had the opportunity to explore and develop their own responses to these issues.
